Dr. Megan Ruth is a dedicated family physician with a full scope family practice and a special interest in women’s health. Dr. Ruth takes a patient-centred approach to care and loves to empower patients to lead healthy lifestyles and be active participants in their health. She is committed to providing evidenced-based, compassionate care throughout her patients’ lifespans. Her specialized focus in women’s health includes polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, prenatal care, vulvovaginal concerns, menorrhagia and contraception. Dr. Ruth received her training in medicine at the University of Calgary and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Alberta, where she also obtained a PhD in nutritional immunology. She has an academic appointment in the Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta and actively involved in training medical students and resident physicians.
